The Zenzero Design belt buckles are all created by hand and are one off original designs. Due to the nature of the mosaic process, no two buckles are the same.
The buckles are oval or rectangular in shape. The oval buckles measure 9.5 cm x 7 cm and the rectangular buckles are available in 2 sizes – smooth edge 9 cm x 6 cm and twisted rope edge 8 cm x 5 cm. They are available in either Silver Nickel or Antique Brass. The buckles feature a hinging rear bracket onto which the leather belt can be attached using snap fasteners.
The buckles are made using hand cut and arranged pieces of quality bone china. The china pieces (taken from tea cups, sauces and plates) are sourced from thrift and secondhand shops. The china inlay is finished with an industry standard black grout. The whole process is then carefully completed with the application of a grout sealer.
